Here are answers to some of the more popular questions we have at The Stereo Collection.

Where did all of these products come from?

As stated in our About Us page, all of the items available for sale here were part of a private collection that had been assembled over years. The owner is a long-time collector and enthusiast of audio equipment, and he had been hand-selecting some of the finest examples of gear from around the world. All of those items are now being made available to the audio enthusiast community.


Are all of the items really Brand New In Box (BNIB) or New Old Stock (NOS)?

Yes. While there are a couple of rare exceptions (and marked accordingly), every item in the collection is BNIB or NOS. If they originally came in a box, they are being offered here in that exact same original packaging. If they were not available in a box (individual drivers, for instance), they are considered NOS and are packed and shipped in a safe manner.

Do the warranties still apply?

In most cases, they do not as much of the product offering is older than the original term of the manufacturer’s warranty. No warranty is expressed or implied by The Stereo Collection.

Will items be re-stocked?

No. Once the items are sold, they are considered “sold out” and will not be purchased again. On many of these items, they are most likely the last remaining NOS inventory in the world.

Are these photos of the actual items being sold?

Yes. We do not use “stock photography”, and shoot all of the images in either our photo studio, or in my media room. In cases where there are multiples of an item, we will only have photos of one of the items out of the inventory.

I am interested in buying in volume, do you offer any volume discounts?

Depending on what you are getting, and how many of each, we may be able to offer up some volume pricing. If you are interested in volume pricing, please reach out to us on our Contact Us page to inquire.

Is The Stereo Collection a home-based business?

Yes it is. I am the manager of the collection, and ship everything out of my home in Ohio.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Our shopping cart operates exclusively off of PayPal.

What shipping method do you offer?

All of our packages are shipped via UPS Ground delivery.

I just placed my order...when will it ship?

We do everything we can to make sure that all orders are shipped out within 24 hours. If orders are placed on Friday~Sunday, they will be shipped out on the following Monday or next business day following a Holiday.

What should I do if there's a problem with my order?

While we strive for complete accuracy, there’s always a chance that mistakes can happen. If you have an issue with your order, please reach out to us on our Contact Us page and we will respond right away!

Do you accept returns?

If there is an issue with the product / order, we will take care of the problem! in that case, reach out to us on our Contact Us page. If you simply decide that you don’t want it, then we suggest you put the item up for sale on eBay or similar.
